The peer review programme to services for adults with haemoglobin disorders took place between May 2012 and April 2013. The Quality Standards used for the programme were agreed by the UK Forum on Haemoglobin Disorders and based on the national guidance: 'Standards for the clinical care of adults and children with thalassaemia in the UK' [2005 and 2008] and 'Standards for the Clinical Care of Adults with Sickle Cell Disease in the UK' . The visits were coordinated by the West Midlands Quality Review Service.
Reports of the visits are available below along with the programme overview report.
